So my website–Web Candy–was down for a few months, and nothing was really happening with it. I’m hoping to change that now because I’ve revamped EVERYTHING, and I plan to start bringing in traffic again by talking about interesting things, and getting my fanfiction fans to come here as an incentive. Let’s see how this goes!

I’ve added some new things…

• The layout: The website layout is new, and since I’m currently going through a Vampire Diaries Phase, I thought it would be nice for the layout to be about them. I’m thinking I might offer this layout as a free download when I get the chance to edit it for the “public”.
• Updated my gravatar pic, my about me pic, my sidebar pic, and my twitter pic…all to the same picture. I’m trying to get a uniform thing going across the web!
• I’ve added so many plugins…ugh. Also, if you haven’t noted already, the little chatbox on the bottom right hand side? I like it better than having  a cbox–people spam that too much. If you need to reach me, make sure to leave a msg on there, and I’ll reply probably within a few hours if it’s daytime or the very next day at the latest. I really want to interact with you!
• Speaking of my VP Phase, I’ve created a new portion to my website! It’s for all my VAMPIRE DIARIES FANS! It’s called Web Candy’s Vampire Diaries Craze. (WC VPDC) for short. I’m excited! This is where all the lastest VPD-related things will be going! I’m still working on this section of my site!
• The link for Web Candy Designs is back up, I just need to finish it as well…
• I’ve added a fanfic section to my website! I’m going to be adding a snippet on my sidebar. DONE! Woot woot!
• Web Candy Points will officially be in motion! It will hopefully work side by side with my VPD Craze section!
• I’ve added a few things to my credit page. Like…the awesome little ANIMATED twitter widget at the top (make sure you add me on twitter btw.) I got it from here. You should consider checking it out and getting your own little twitter bird cuttiee

Summer is in 3 weeks! I have SO much I want to talk about…so much I need to vent about..and so much I want to do to my website! I need to really focus these last few weeks on my exams, and then Im going to give WC 150% of my attention. Please bear with me !

So; the first week of school was crazy. I’m taking 5 classes and they seem like they will be fun but…LONG and time consuming. I just couldn’t find the time to blog.  -_- And I really miss my website!

So, I’ve been gone…life has been a bit hectic. Here’s some updates though:

• I saw Breaking Dawn. It was great. I loved it. In my opinion, it was definitely was one of the best one’s yet. I think Jacob’s scene where he finally takes his rightful place as Alpha was AMAZING. I was in the movies screaming “YEASSSS!! GO Jacob!” And the people behind me were laughing. And that’s saying alot. I didn’t get to go to the midnight premeire.  =|  Because it was crazy packed. I bought my ticket a week in advance, but the people that came with me did not. So I had to wait until 3 AM to watch it with them. But it was worth it, although I didn’t get out until 5:30 am, and slept all day! I’ll go more into detail about this movie another time!
• I am taking finals, and then packing to make a very long trip. I am going from pensacola, fl back to my home on wednesday. Then I’m flying out to baltimore maryland the very next day and I’ll be gone for two weeks. I’ll probably be without internet/computer access to. So I figured I should at least tell everyone formally instead of disappearing.  I will be going on hiatus.
• I hope everyone that celebrates it has a wonderful christmas. Otherwise…happy holidays? Oh speaking of which! I had a great thanksgiving. It was fun. I got to go home an have some quality family time.
• Um, I think that’s everything…I’ll try to go finish up some blog hops now!  =)

So……school. ughh lol. It’s driving me crazy. I mean, not right now, but…it’s alot. Being in college is fun..there’s alot more freedom, which is great. But it’s ALOT of work. If I don’t pass a class, it really bothers me because it’s MY money that is going down the drain. It’s not free public education anymore like in high school! This week was frustrating…I had a bunch of statistics homework to do. I’m basically teaching myself that. I don’t go to class (he does not take attendence, so I’m assuming it’s not required. lol) but the work can be done from home and turned in. Which is what I do. and it’s not so much that I can’t do the work, or even that I dont want to do the work…the problem is how much work there is! I mean…I’m not complaining…or I’m not trying to anyways, but I try to manage my time wiesely but taking 5 classes is alot, and I feel like the majority of my time is spent on JUST statistics alone. It monoplizes my time! And takes aaway from not only other classwork I could/should be doing, but also the time I would normally have to blog. Like now. I had an inner battle with myself to be able to even find the time to write this blog right now! I have one more section of math that I need to do, but I think I will be fine if I blog for a little bit inbetween classes.

Anyways, besides statistics, my other classes are going okay. I’m learning alot in my Online Java Programming class. I really like being able to make programs. It’s cool! Um, my personal life could be better but I’m not complaining. Oh, I finally got my Twilight website up. You should go check it out. (=] And yes, it basically is just a copy of this website, with a few of the minor things changed. I’m still working on the style sheet now. haha…but yea, I think it’s pretty good for my second wordpress layout, don’t you agree?  It’s not completely done just yet, but it’s getting there. That website’s come a longggg way. I can’t wait to see BD: Part 1!!! ahhhhh! I’m excited. I’m also excited about going home next month! I’m excited about thanksgiving and being with my family, but I’m mainly excited that I’m going to be able to actually shop this year for black friday. I usually never have money for it. This year I have 2 credit cards and some money saved up! (Don’t worry, I know not to fudge up my credit.) You don’t want to mess that up…takes a long time to undo, and could screw you over later in life! But anywho…I plan on getting a few things…I’ll post my dreamlist next post!! (: But I must be going now. I’m going to finishing returning blog comments.

Before I begin about WCP; I need to cover a few things:

Well, since I’ve already started the moving process of converting my website from php to wordpress, I figure I might as well continue it with other things. So i’ve decided to convert my other 4+ websites. Not right now, but soon. The next ‘big move’ I’ve decided to do is change servers/hosts. My host is amazing, and she’s really really nice, however, my servers are constantly down…and seeing as how I’m trying to start hosting people, this is an issue I cant have. I have just bought hosting over at Parade Hosting. They looked goood, I hope they are. Does anyone know? ?)  Has anyone had any experience with them? (:

Anywho, for the most part, this website is “done” as in…I’ve fixed the majority of the pages. I’ve decided NOT to convert all my old tutorials and posts over to here…instead; im going to start fresh. It was too much of a hassle. and I don’t really have that many tutorials to begin with.

So today was pretty productive! I volunteered as a local animal shelter and here are some of the adorable doggies! Just gotta show you guys! (:

Her name was Mcgarthy…that’s the name of the street of where she was found. She’s a boxer and possible pitbull (maybe?) mix. She was SOOOO adorable omg I wish I could have adopted her!

This cutie’s name is Rudy. He is a little under a year old. We believe he is a purebloooded rednose pitbull. He was abandoned…he’s well tempereed; despite his breed. I disagree with people that believe all Pits are bad. I think it depends on how you raise them. Anywho; I hope these two adorables get adopted. Cross your fingers!
